HOW DO I...
OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?

Patients taking regular medication may be given a repeat prescription. There are several ways to re-order your medication:

• Post the tear-off slip or simply drop it in to the surgery red box

• Fax your request to (01270) 216330

• Order online via emis (see below). You must first register for this - please contact reception.

• Order by email to admin@gp-N81044.nhs.uk

Please note that WE CANNOT accept requests by telephone because of the potential for error.

If you provide a stamped addressed envelope we can send the new script back to you. Most chemists offer collection and/or delivery services. Ask at your chemist for more details.

Please order your repeat medicines in good time - don't risk running out - especially at weekends or during holiday periods.

Our service target (from receiving your request to your prescription being ready for collection) is TWO FULL WORKING DAYS, eg from Monday morning to Wednesday afternoon. Established repeat medication (ie that which you have been taking for some time) will normally be available more quickly than new medicines or medicines that you have not requested for some time.
